While in the board:
click the box or boxes next to the thread(s) that you want to do the following to:
move topic: this will move a topic to another area. You will almost NEVER have to do this except to move the event new and games to their respective archives. Set it so that you display no message people already know where the games and event news go to... if on the Rare occurrence that someone puts a thread in the wrong spot make sure you display the message make sure you add in the message why you moved it so people will know why.
remove topic: Delete a thread. Be extremely careful that you delete the correct thread... if you accidentally make a message moving a thread this is what you'll need to do.
lock thread: Locks the thread so none can add/edit to the thread(staff still can). It can reverse the locking and unlock the thread so everyone can add and edit the thread
sticky thread: This puts the thread at the top of the board and keeps it there. This is mainly used for announcements, news, or current events( remember to unsticky the thread when the event has ended).
sticky lock: Both locks and stickys the thread.
bump: Bumps the thread to the top of the board without adding a new post to it (will also make the topic say it has a new post when it doesn't)
In a topic:
Announcement: Makes the thread an announcement. This will make the thread as a special "sticky" in all the boards that have announcements enabled. Very rarely used, usually used when a major change to the boards will or is occurring.
modify: If you need to edit someones post other then an event, announcement, or news thread remember to add something to the bottom of the post you edited so they know why and what you edited.
