Hunts/searches, hide and seek and run-around
These 3 games are very related so I’ll write them in one post:
Hunt/search
needed: travel runes, travel jewellery etc., boots of lightness, spotted (or spottier) cape, some coins to pay for entrance or carpet ride fees, (super) energy potions, anything coming in handy to travel
place: gathering or starting place
world: any world will do
minimum amount of participants: anyone interested
goal: be fastest to reach finish
duration: as long as it takes
Reaching the finish in a hunt or search is going from step to step till the place-to-be reveals itself. Steps can be games, riddles or given clues along the way. This game takes intense preparation, for the organisation needs to prepare a path through the world where anagrams, non-player-character commends, places, names etc. will finally add up to reveal the final location of the person or item sought to win the game.
Hide and seek
needed: travel runes, travel jewellery etc., boots of lightness, spotted (or spottier) cape, some coins to pay for entrance or carpet ride fees, (super) energy potions, anything coming in handy to travel
place: gathering or starting place
world: any world will do
minimum amount of participants: anyone interested
goal: be fastest to find the hiding one
duration: as long as it takes
By means of clan-chat the one hiding will give clues where to find him/her and all player can spread out over the lands of Runescape to find the hidden friend.
Run-around
needed: if allowed: boots of lightness, spotted (or spottier) cape, (super) energy potions
place: gathering or starting place
world: any world will do
minimum amount of participants: anyone interested
goal: be fastest to reach the final destination
duration: as long as it takes
From the starting point one is directed to the next place to be where one will get next location, etc. The use of teleport runes, items or anything that speeds travel beyond running is prohibited. Organisation needs several people to wait and guide participating clan members to the next person. The one choosing fastest route of running wins!
